Job Description

Our client, a leading Tier 1 main contractor, is seeking a Site Manager for a Surgical Hub project based in Waterford City The successful candidate will assist in managing the project, which has up to 2 years’ worth of work. The preferred candidate will possess relevant experience in project management within the construction sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all on-site activities to ensure project completion within the specified timeline and budget.
2. Help develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
5. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
6. Manage and supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
7. Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.

Requirements:

1. Relevant experience in project management within the construction sector.
2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Ability to read and interpret design plans and technical drawings.
