This role is responsible for the whole scope of site works from site mobilization to final acceptance followed by site close out. The Site Manager serves as a member of the Project Team, with accountability for Safety, Quality, Delivery (schedule) and Cost (including Statutory Labor compliances)- SQDC, for all jobsite activities in line with the contractual obligations of the project keeping GE Vernova Code of conduct at the center of what we do.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Represent the Project and the Organization towards customers, partners, subcontractors, and local authorities on site and lead all site activities performed by the organization, consortium partners (if applicable) and subcontractors through a proper Daily Management System – DMS
(word “daily” to be understood as Daily, Weekly, Bi- weekly, monthly, and so on, as applicable based on nature of work).
2. Responsible for the whole scope of site works from site mobilization to final acceptance followed by site close out by upholding the GE Vernova code of conduct in all actions.
3. Assumes accountability for Safety, schedule (Delivery), Quality and Cost (including RA bill/ and other cash collection [ SQDC ] for all jobsite activities in line with the contractual obligations of the project including the statutory labor compliances as per applicable labor act/laws.
4. Lead a team of site engineers and managers and ensure that direct reports are properly trained and receive the support needed to perform their duties. Coordinate support from PCCM and Head office, as needed.
5. Accountable for implementing the organization’s EHS Policy and Management Systems at the site, and for ensuring that established rules, safe working practices, and local laws and regulations are adhered, mentioning roles and responsibilities of Site Manager. Report all accidents, near misses and deviations and non-compliances with the applicable Safety directives to stakeholders defined.
6. Ensure adherence to zero tolerance policy towards Life Saving Rules laid down by GE Vernova at all times to achieve mission of zero fatality.
7. Im ple ment rem edial meas ures to r educe or eli mina te unsa fe a cts and condi tio ns. This r espo nsibili ty al so i ncludes i nformi ng, ins tr ucti ng a nd e ns ur ing si te sta ff trai ni ng in sa fer met hods of work a nd inve stiga ting eve ntual a ccide nts.
8. Manage the RFI pro ce ss (TQ – Techni cal Query Li st ) with si te subcontra ctors and ens ure is sua nce of pr oper T IR’s (Te chnical Is sue r esoluti on) in M TA, if r equir ed, to ob tain a ddit io nal i nf orma tion, do cument addi tio nal cost or d ela y, or i ni tiate back charg es to s ub- co ntra ctor’s.
9. Im pl ementa ti on of DMS- Daily mana gem ent syste m, Nonconf orma nce cost (NCC ) a nd Cost Of Po or Quali ty (CoP Q) at s ite.

15. Maintain Customer and other stakeholder relationship for smooth execution of site activities.
16. Other duties and responsibilities that will be entrusted by C&C leadership from time to time in relation to execution of the project.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, having atleast between 15 to 20 years of execution experience in construction field with atleast, 2 years of experience in leading site team as Site Manager.
