Job Description

Your tasks

  • Own and drive site operational performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People
  • Lead daily operations with a strong Gemba presence, ensuring visibility, responsiveness, and problem-solving at the shopfloor
  • Take full ownership of site KPIs and cost control performance for the assigned CoC plant(s)
  • Ensure execution discipline through standard work, performance reviews, and escalation management
  • Ensure customer service is maintained at the highest level
  • Management of supplier quality and performance to ensure operational efficiency on site
  • Ensure customer satisfaction across all indicators
  • Legal compliance, including labor, environmental, and operational compliance
  • Audit readiness, including ISO, IATF, and customer audits
  • Act as Production Team Manager, eliminating unnecessary management layers
  • Directly lead and align supervisors and frontline teams
  • Drive a high-performance culture with clear accountability and ownership at all levels
  • Ensure structured routines, including tier meetings, escalation processes, and visual management
  • Build a strong, engaged, and accountable workforce
  • Maintain high accessibility and visibility to shopfloor employees
  • Coach and develop supervisors and emerging leaders
  • Lead performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning
  • Drive engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Lead all on-site support functions, including quality, engineering, logistics, and HR, in alignment with site priorities
  • Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational targets
  • Fully accountable for end-to-end site performance
  • Own and drive site cost control, including cost efficiency and productivity improvements
  • Support achievement of overall site financial performance
  • Partner with the Multi-Site WL on financial planning and performance tracking
  • Develop strong business acumen and understanding of P&L drivers; full P&L accountability resides with WL
  • Owns safety performance and regulatory compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with CoC and organizational priorities
  • Lead problem-solving activities and sustain improvements including effective root cause and permanent countermeasures to ensure no repeat issues
  • Embed lean principles and operational excellence at the shopfloor level

Your Profile

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing/operations
  • Strong operational and production management expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance
  • Solid understanding of lean/continuous improvement principles
  • Business acumen with exposure to financial performance metrics
  • High potential for advancement into senior leadership roles
  • Strong leadership presence on the shopfloor
  • Effective shop floor management using the standard tools
  • Ability to drive results through others
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Balance of operational focus and strategic thinking
  • Readiness for future progression to WL role
  • Responsible for one CoC plant: SPA, ARL, or LAN
  • Operates within a multi-site leadership model
  • Works in close alignment with peer Site Managers and central functions
