Job Description

This role will see you manage the beautiful grounds of Raleigh Park Estate located in Kensington. Oversee all aspects of site operations for the residential community spaces including scheduling, resource management, client liaison and leadership and development of a dedicated team.

About You

• You are a qualified horticulturist with a strong background working across high quality garden sites.
• You have, or are willing to obtain, a valid white card and working with children check. You are also prepared to undertake a national police check - this is an absolute requirement given the nature of this site.
• You are computer literate and have excellent organisational skills.
• You have previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role where you have proven yourself to be able to motivate and develop your team members to get the best out of them. This role will have responsibility for performance management of staff and also ensuring successful training of apprentices.
• Above all, you have a can-do attitude and thrive under pressure - no two days will be the same in this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team, providing guidance and support to ensure the needs of the client are met and exceeded.
• Plan, schedule and oversee brushcutting, formal and informal pruning, mowing, hedging, fertilising, rubbish removal and pest control
• Collaborate with the client to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide recommendations
• Conduct site assessments to identify maintenance needs, develop work plans, and estimate resource requirements
• Implement a program for seasonal weeding of turf and other green spaces
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Provide monthly reporting to management
• Foster a culture of safety
