Job Description

Our client, a reputable local developer, is seeking a Finishing Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a large residential development in Wexford Town. This long-term project involves the construction of high-quality housing units and associated infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

To be successful, the preferred candidate will have solid experience in residential construction, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily site operations and ensure adherence to project timelines.
2. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions where necessary.
5. Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
6. Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
7. Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation.
8. Oversee logistics, deliveries, and resource allocation.
9. Support the project team in achieving key milestones and deliverables.

Role Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Site Manager role, ideally within residential construction.
2. Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
4. Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
