Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new residential development located north of Cork City. This role involves managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will lead the construction team, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

To be successful, the preferred candidate will have strong experience in residential construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders throughout the build process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to project timelines.
2. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions where necessary.
5. Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
6. Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
7. Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation.
8. Oversee logistics, deliveries, and resource allocation.
9. Support the project team in achieving key milestones and deliverables.

Role Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager role, ideally within residential construction.
2. Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
4. Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
