With a proven track record of delivering projects that stand the test of time, we continue to grow and now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our dedicated Brisbane build team.

Requirements

About the role

• Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes,
• Be responsible for co-ordinating trades onsite
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards.
• Co-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain Alder’s strong reputation.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards
• Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
• Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.
• Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
• Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.
• Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.

About You - Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA)
• Relevant trade background and competencies
• Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
• Willingness to lead and motivate team members
• A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven
• Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals
• Good computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)
