About the role
The Site Maintainer will be based at Mayne Yard and is responsible for general maintenance, cleaning tasks and occasionally assisting trade staff with various tasks.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
• Work autonomously and report any anomalies associated with daily work tasks and/or the running of the wastewater treatment facility
• Service and clean waste oil containers and storage areas ensuring accordance with QR waste disposal and EPA guidelines
• Appropriately manage any debris across the site
• Assist trades staff as required
• Operate power driven vehicles and high-pressure cleaning equipment
• Regular maintenance of vegetation growth
This position will work a 7-day rotating roster and requires availability across all days.

About you
• Previous experience with labouring, cleaning, basic maintenance tasks
• Ability to use hand tools and power-driven cleaning equipment
• Strong literacy and numeracy, oral and interpersonal communication skills
