Deliver stable, reliable site logistics and inventory control for key raw materials (e.g., Adipic Acid, HMD) and site product containers. Ensure material quality, on-time availability, compliant transport, and continuous improvement to support safe, predictable production.

What You Will Do

Inventory Management

• Own site raw-material inventory to prevent stockouts and minimize excess holding while preserving quality and shelf-life.
• Maintain target days-of-inventory and reorder points (coord. with Gloucester stock planning for AA and HMD).
• Complete end-of-month physical checks, reconcile system records, and provide actionable commentary on discrepancies.
• Lead root-cause analysis for inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to production schedule changes (expedite, defer, reallocate) within defined SLAs.
• Support finance queries and external raw-material audits.

Inbound/Outbound Logistics

• Ensure timely, accurate inbound deliveries and outbound shipments; control yard/container movements.
• Enforce receipt/dispatch processes and timely system entry of goods receipts, dispatch notes and carrier docs.
• Monitor expected vs actual deliveries and escalate exceptions within SLA.
• Manage container fleet (full/empty), update the containers app/WMS, and coordinate weekly container execution plans.
• Coordinate third‑party maintenance/service agreements and escalate contractual/non‑conformance issues.

Quality & Supplier Collaboration

• Verify inbound materials against COA’s; quarantine and raise issues for non-conformance.
• Record and investigate quality incidents in Enablon; drive supplier corrective actions to closure.
• Build supplier accountability for material quality and delivery reliability.

Documentation, Compliance & Transport Controls

• Maintain complete, auditable logistics documentation (CMR’s, permits, traceability).
• Ensure driver/ carrier compliance and system traceability for regulatory/commercial review.

Stable Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Align daily logistics execution with site PBM objectives: reduce variability, waste, and ensure predictable material flow.
• Identify and implement improvements (FIFO, slow‑mover management, 5S) and adopt technology (SAP, WMS, containers app) to increase visibility and automation.

Success Measures / Expectations

Reliable inventory availability (target DOI and reorder adherence)

High inventory accuracy and timely month-end reconciliation

On-time inbound/outbound performance and container execution

Low incidence of material quality non-conformances and timely supplier corrective actions

Demonstrated continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost/variability

Collaboration & Reporting

Works closely with Production & Material Optimisation Lead. Serves as primary logistics contact in their absence.

Regular interaction with Procurement, Finance, QA, carriers and key suppliers.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience in site logistics/inventory management (chemical/materials experience preferred)

Proficiency with SAP (or WMS), Enablon and container/yard management tools

Strong problem-solving, supplier management and audit-ready documentation skills

Knowledge of transport compliance and hazardous materials handling standards

Doel

• Zorg voor stabiele en betrouwbare site-logistiek en voorraadbeheer voor belangrijke grondstoffen (bijv. Adipinezuur, HMD) en site-productcontainers. Zorg voor materiaal van goede kwaliteit, op tijd beschikbaar, conform transportregels, en bevorder voortdurende verbetering ter ondersteuning van veilige en voorspelbare productie

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

Voorraadbeheer

• Beheer van de grondstoffenvoorraad op de site om voorraadtekorten te voorkomen en overtollige voorraad te minimaliseren, terwijl kwaliteit en houdbaarheid behouden blijven.
• Handhaaf de gewenste voorraaddagen en bestelpuntwaarden (afstemming met Gloucester voor voorraadplanning van AA en HMD).
• Voer fysieke controles aan het eind van de maand uit, corrigeer systeemrecords en geef bruikbare opmerkingen bij afwijkingen.
• Leidt root-cause analyses bij voorraadverschillen en implementeer corrigerende acties.
• Reageer op wijzigingen in het productieschema (versnellen, uitstellen, herverdelen) binnen de vastgestelde SLA's
• Ondersteun financiële vragen en externe audits van grondstoffen.

Inkomende/Uitgaande logistiek

• Zorg voor tijdige en nauwkeurige inkomende leveringen en uitgaande zendingen, beheer het terrein/containers.
• Handhaaf processen voor ontvangst/vertrek en zorg dat goederenontvangsten, verzendnota's en vervoerdersdocumenten op tijd in het systeem worden ingevoerd.
• Houd verwachte versus werkelijke leveringen in de gaten en eskaleer afwijkingen binnen de SLA.
• Beheer de containervloot (vol/leeg), werk de containers-app/WMS bij en coördineer de wekelijkse containerplanuitvoering.
• Coördineer onderhouds-/serviceovereenkomsten van derden en eskaleer contractuele/non-conformance kwesties.

Kwaliteit & Samenwerking met Leveranciers

• Controleer inkomende materialen op basis van COA's; quarantaineer en meld problemen bij niet-conformiteit.
• Leg kwaliteitsincidenten vast en onderzoek ze in Enablon; stuur correctieve acties van leveranciers tot afronding aan.
• Bouw verantwoordelijkheid bij leveranciers op voor materiaalkwaliteit en leveringsbetrouwbaarheid.

Documentatie, Naleving & Transportcontroles

• Zorg voor volledige en controleerbare logistieke documentatie (CMR's, vergunningen, traceerbaarheid).
• Zorg ervoor dat chauffeurs/transporteurs voldoen aan de regels en dat systemen traceerbaarheid bieden voor regelgeving/commercieel toezicht.

Stabiele Operaties & Continue Verbetering

• Stem dagelijkse logistieke uitvoering af op de PBM-doelen van de locatie: verminder variabiliteit, verspilling en zorg voor een voorspelbare materiaalstroom.
• Identificeer en implementeer verbeteringen (FIFO, beheer van langzame movers, 5S) en gebruik technologie (SAP, WMS, containers app) om zichtbaarheid en automatisering te vergroten.

Succesmetingen / Verwachtingen

• Betrouwbare beschikbaarheid van voorraad (doel DOI en naleving van herbevoorrading)
• Hoge voorraadnauwkeurigheid en tijdige maandafsluiting
• Tijdige in- en outbound prestaties en uitvoering van containers
• Lage incidentie van niet-conforme materiaalkwaliteit en tijdige correctieve acties van leveranciers
• Aangetoonde initiatieven voor continue verbetering die kosten/variabiliteit verminderen

Samenwerking & Rapportage

• Werkt nauw samen met de Productie- & Materiaal Optimalisatieleider. Dient als primaire logistieke contactpersoon bij afwezigheid van de PMOL
• Regelmatige interactie met Inkoop, Financiën, Kwaliteitszorg, vervoerders en belangrijke leveranciers.

Typische kwalificaties & vaardigheden

• Ervaring met site-logistiek/voorraadbeheer (ervaring met chemicaliën/materialen is een plus)
• Bekendheid met SAP (of WMS), Enablon en container-/terreinbeheertools
• Sterke vaardigheden in probleemoplossing, leveranciersbeheer en auditklare documentatie
• Kennis van transportregelgeving en het omgaan met gevaarlijke stoffen
