Job Summary:
As the Site Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics and supply chain management at our company's site. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials, while maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to optimize site operations
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan for future logistics needs
- Manage the logistics budget and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of the site's warehouse and storage areas
- Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Communicate regularly with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or management
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles and best practices
- Experience with inventory management and tracking systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to logistics and supply chain management
