We are seeking an experienced Site Lead / Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) to support an Egyptian Air Force AH-64Ev6 training and aviation advisory program in Egypt.

The successful candidate will serve as the senior deployed aviation training advisor, providing leadership, standardization, instructor pilot training, tactical employment instruction, and mentorship to Egyptian Air Force AH-64Ev6 personnel.

Position Summary

The Site Lead / SIP will serve as the senior aviation training advisor and will be responsible for leading the deployed team, coordinating activities with Egyptian Air Force and U.S. Government personnel, and supporting the development of a sustainable AH-64Ev6 training and operational capability.

The Site Lead will manage the team's internal standardization and crewmember training sustainment program, oversee training records and progression, and provide ground and flight instruction to EAF pilots and instructor pilots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary deployed Site Lead for the Resicum International aviation advisory team.
  • Manage deployed contractor personnel and assign daily tasks.
  • Coordinate directly with EAF and U.S. Government personnel.
  • Provide professional written reports and status updates.
  • Serve as the AH-64Ev6 Standardization Instructor Pilot.
  • Provide academic, ground, simulator, and flight training to EAF pilots.
  • Train and mentor EAF Instructor Pilots.
  • Provide instruction on AH-64Ev6 systems and installed mission equipment.
  • Provide instruction on aircraft and team tactical employment.
  • Support aircraft sustainment and standardization training.
  • Manage the team's internal standardization and crewmember training program.
  • Monitor aircrew currency, medical, proficiency, and qualification requirements.
  • Support maintenance and certification processing of aircrew training folders.
  • Create and maintain training records and progression databases.
  • Support AH-64Ev6 readiness-level progression.
  • Advise EAF personnel on tactical employment and aircraft sustainment.
  • Support training conducted under day, night, night-systems, enclosed-cockpit, simulated-instrument, and simulated-combat conditions.
  • Support training at alternate locations within Egypt as required.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previously qualified as an AH-64Ev6 Instructor Pilot.
  • Minimum 3,000 total rotary-wing flight hours.
  • Minimum 2,000 cumulative AH-64 aircraft flight hours.
  • Minimum 1,000 hours as an Instructor Pilot.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage aviation training personnel.
  • Ability to effectively interface with EAF and U.S. Government personnel.
  • Ability to prepare professional written reports.
  • AH-64Ev6 qualification must be current and documented.
  • Must have flown an AH-64Ev6 within 180 days prior to arrival in Egypt, unless an exception is approved by the Government.
  • Must meet applicable military aviation qualification and flight safety requirements.
  • Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.
  • U.S. citizenship required unless an approved Government exception applies.
  • Must possess a valid official U.S. passport meeting deployment requirements.
  • Must successfully complete required pre-deployment training and screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AH-64D/E Battalion or Brigade-level Standardization Pilot experience.
  • Master Gunner qualification.
  • Tactical Operations (TACOPS) experience.
  • Aviation Safety Officer experience.
  • Aviation Mission Survivability Officer experience.
  • Experience training foreign military aviation personnel.

Deployment Requirements

  • Willingness to deploy and work in Egypt.
  • Willingness to perform temporary duty throughout Egypt.
  • Ability to operate in austere field conditions when required.
  • FACT training and other Government-directed pre-deployment requirements must be completed.
  • HUET/Dunker and HEED qualification or currency may be required for applicable overwater flight activities.
