Site HSE Supervisor - Germany
HIGHER-LEVEL TASKS OF THE BODY
The position holder is responsible to coordinate and supervise construction HSE activities within German projects, related to onshore and offshore installation (if applicable), ensuring compliance with Prysmian HSE MS, Client and contractual requirements.
He is also responsible to coordinate Prysmian and subcontractors’ site activities, ensuring compliance with Project HSE Plan, SiGePlan and German regulatory framework requirements, related to Health, Safety and Environment.
The position will spend most of the time onsite during site execution, he shall be available to travel site to site mainly by car.
IMPORTANT DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that all HSE activities at construction site(s) are carried onin accordance with the Germanapplicable laws and regulations, client requirements and Prysmian HSE MS related to Health, Safety and Environment
To assistProject HSE Managersin Risk Management process (i.e.Design and Detailed HAZID)
To facilitate accidents/incidents investigation and to carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans at site level
To conduct HSE audits both internal and externalon subcontractors involved in project activities (prequalification and project phases)
To develop and perform project safety training induction and contribute to the implementation at site level of Prysmian safety behavioral initiatives, also including suppliers and subcontractors
To monitor, evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of the HSE Plansand propose improvement actions.
To perform Site HSE inspections and to create the related reports, ensuring a follow-up of the outcome
To collect all Safety Observation Cards
To collect all the required HSE KPIs for German Projects
To ensure the proper waste management, including segregation, collection, and reporting
The activities described here are not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked by superiors
to take on other tasks appropriate to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, DESIRED SKILLS
Having the purpose of reinforcing the HSE team, we are open to evaluate profiles with different seniority, having at least 3 years of Site HSE Management experience, within German EPCI work environment, including Onshore and Offshore Construction and Installation activities
Technical Degree (engineering).
SigeKo certificate("Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsschutzkoordinator" - To cover the role of Safety and Health Protection Coordinator, if needed
FaSicertificate- "Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit" - occupational safety specialist
Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 series standard; Be qualified as lead auditor will be a plus
Strong leadership, team player. People management/influencing and organizational skills.
High PC literacy.
Proficient in German and English skills: C1 or higher
Driver license
Used to work in international and multicultural environment
Familiarity with HAZID methodology
Familiarity with the International Maritime Organization ISM Code (International Safety Management Code) will be a plus
