About the role

We’re looking for a Site Head of Quality to lead quality excellence across the site and play a critical role in shaping a strong culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll drive the development and execution of quality and compliance strategies, empower teams to improve products and processes, and help remove barriers so the site can consistently deliver at the highest standards.

You’ll lead, coach, and develop the site quality team while serving as a key member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT). This is an opportunity to influence business strategy, strengthen quality culture, and make a visible difference across the organisation.

A day in The Life

Role Responsibilities

  • You’ll be a key member of the site leadership team, helping shape and deploy strategy that supports business objectives while leading quality and compliance initiatives across the site.
  • You’ll ensure the full deployment of the Haleon Quality Management System and regulatory requirements, making sure standards are not only in place but embedded in everyday practice.
  • You’ll play a leading role in site risk management, ensuring robust root cause analysis and effective mitigation strategies are in place to manage quality risks proactively.
  • You’ll ensure the right governance and escalation processes are in place, helping the site respond quickly, effectively, and with confidence.
  • You’ll lead regulatory inspections and ensure the site is always inspection-ready, while driving strong compliance programmes and overseeing effective corrective and preventive actions arising from internal and external audits.
  • You’ll champion a culture of quality and compliance, partnering across functions to raise standards, solve complex issues, and support continuous improvement.
  • You’ll be leading and managing site Quality team, providing direction and developing the team

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in Pharmacy or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 10 years experience in quality, compliance, or pharmaceutical manufacturing, including substantial leadership responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad technical and regulatory knowledge of current pharmaceutical analytical methods, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • The strategic judgement and professional credibility to shape quality direction, influence decision-making, and lead the implementation of both long-term and tactical compliance plans.
