We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Site Engineer specializing in Testing & Commissioning (T&C) to join our railway signalling project team in Estonia. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for executing, documenting, and validating the technical performance of railway signalling systems on-site. You will work closely with our site teams, engineering departments, and external partners to ensure that all interlocking, trackside, and train control systems are tested safely, rigorously, and in compliance with project specifications and railway standards.

What you will do:

• Execution of T&C Activities: Plan, prepare, and execute on-site testing and commissioning activities for railway signalling systems (e.g., electronic interlocking, track circuits, point machines, and signals).
• Technical Troubleshooting & Validation: Analyze test results, troubleshoot technical anomalies or system integration issues on-site, and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all test records, protocols, as-built documentation, and safety sign-offs are meticulously compiled, verified, and approved according to regulatory standards.
• Safety & Site Adherence: Strictly adhere to and enforce all site safety rules, testing protocols, and railway possession regulations during live or dead testing phases.
• Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration: Work effectively alongside site partners, sub-contractors, independent safety assessors (ISAs), and client representatives during witness testing and handover phases.
• Progress Reporting: Report daily testing progress, milestones, and any technical roadblocks to the Site Manager and T&C Manager.

What we expect from you:

• Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) working as a Site Engineer, T&C Engineer, or Testing Engineer, ideally within railway signalling infrastructure or heavy industrial automation.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Telecommunications, Railway Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Methodical mindset with high attention to detail, capable of structured fault-finding and rigorous documentation under site conditions.
• Language Skills:
• Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site across Estonia, including occasional night or weekend shifts as required by railway possession schedules.
