Job Description

Our client, a prominent semi-state organisation, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of various civil infrastructure projects across the Dublin area The successful candidate will play a key role in site supervision, project coordination, and engineering support across multiple active sites. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team working on nationally significant public works. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a construction engineering environment, with strong site supervision and project engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Management Procedure audits and gateway reviews.
• Manage civil, building, demolition, and structural works.
• Oversee project controls, reporting, construction management, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and monitor the performance of appointed persons.
• Assist the Project Manager in delivering projects within approved budgets.
• Provide site supervision support including governance, assurance, and reporting.
• Monitor programme progress and assist with schedule reviews on-site.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project guidelines and templates.
• Ensure smooth execution of works through effective coordination and communication.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in site supervision and project engineering within a construction environment.
• Demonstrated engineering and management capability appropriate to the role.
• Strong understanding of health and safety issues in a construction setting.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
