As HVDC Valves Site Engineer the individual will supervise a team of engineers/technicians and/or subcontractors for the installation, pre-commissioning, and maintenance of HVDC Valve Solutions.
The GE HVDC projects are worldwide. As per the role, the candidate will travel to customer sites on a regular basis.
The individual will coordinate valve site activities and will report to the HVDC office on progress and results. The role demands excellent coordination and communication skills and close attention to detail.
As Valve Site Engineer, the candidate will report to the Valve Site Team Leader.
Execute the delivery of the project regarding the converter valve Installation, Pre-commissioning, and maintenance. From the capture of the requirements to the handover to customer, as per budget and within schedule.
