What you’ll do:

As the Site Electrical Engineer joining our Mining team, supporting delivery of a major iron ore EPCM project. This is a site-based role focused on construction execution, coordination, and technical support across electrical works.

This is a strong opportunity to step into a large-scale, complex project environment and build your experience working alongside a well-established project team. You'll be working on a 2:1 roster flying from Perth, for an initial 12 month contract, your day to day will look like;

  • Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support to site construction activities
  • Assist with QA/QC, inspections, and verification of electrical installations
  • Work closely with the Senior Engineers on the team to ensure works are delivered in line with design, standards, and schedule
  • Review drawings, RFIs, and technical queries, escalating where required
  • Support commissioning and handover activities
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across the project

About you:

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • 2–6 years’ experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry projects
  • Exposure to site-based delivery or construction environments (highly regarded)
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems in mining or processing facilities
  • Able to work collaboratively in a site-based team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
