What are we looking for in a Site Director for Benton Franklin?
The Site Director is responsible for all fiscal, administrative, clinical and operational aspects of the defined division/services or area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, COMPETENCIES & MEASURABLE BEHAVIOR
CLINICAL SUPERVISION:
- Conducts and documents on-going clinical supervision consistent with Comprehensive Healthcare’s policies and procedures, and consistent with the requirements for the supervised employee’s professional credentials.
- Assesses clinical skills, gives constructive feedback, and provides (or arranges for) training and coaching to promote the development of technical skills, therapeutic approaches, and strength-based interventions appropriate for the client population served.
- Creates a continuing education plan and designs and tracks learning objectives to support new skill development consistent with job requirements.
LEADERSHIP:
- Provides direction, supervision, coaching, training and regular performance feedback to build employee skills and support progress toward goals.
- Creates training and development plans to support new employees to be successful.
- Assists with the development of the team budget and monitors budget throughout the year.
- Monitors program plan adherence to ensure quality service delivery.
- Collaborates with the Human Resources Department on hiring, retention and corrective actions.
- Communicates relevant matters to direct reports timely and effectively.
- Initiates and maintains projects or programs consistent with policy
EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES:
- Effectively and legally interviews applicants and makes appropriate staff selections.
- Follows policies and procedures for corrective action relating to staff performance.
- Provides sound supervision to all direct reports which include appropriate and frequent performance feedback.
- Supports employees in skill development and goal attainment.
- Completes performance evaluations in a timely and thorough manner.
- Appropriately utilizes the Human Resources Department as needed and required.
Key Activities:
- Responsible for all fiscal, administrative, clinical and operational aspects of assigned divisions, teams or otherwise defined areas of responsibility.
- Promotes culturally competent and accessible services for all clients. Develops and implements plans to achieve cultural competence and effective access when indicators point to problems.
- As assigned, participates in agency representation activities including other service providers; state, regional and local committees; etc., and represents or provides back-up as requested.
- Identifies opportunities for program improvement or growth, defines potential strategies for consideration and assists in the development of approved programs and strategies.
- Ensures compliance of all services and clinical practices with all contractual, regulatory and accreditation requirements. Responds to noted deficiencies with a timely/appropriate Plan of Correction and implements plan components. Ensures ethical and effective business practices, which are consistent with agency mission, priorities, organizational goals, objectives and policies.

- Ensures the appropriate delivery of clinical services to all clients across full continuum of agency services, divisions and programs while maximizing the fiscal viability of the program and services. Participates in development of annual budgets for assigned services and monitors on a routine basis to ensure allocation of expenditures and revenues. Ensures organizational resources are maximally and effectively used across assigned services.
- Participates in short- and long-term strategic planning for the agency, and participates in developing goals and objectives for division, programs and services to attain strategic goals. Routinely reports to appropriate committees regarding status of strategic plans, issues and opportunities.
- Monitors and evaluates clinical effectiveness of services against established outcome or performance indicators (agency, contractual, regulatory, etc.). Reports routinely with analysis and recommendations. Coordinates the development and implementation of clinical pathways and use of evidence-based practices for services to ensure most effective and cost-effective clinical practices
- Participates in developing and implementing agency, clinical and administrative policies and procedures
- Ensures staff training, development and morale necessary to provide quality, effective services.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Master's degree in related behavioral science.
- Four years of experience with advanced clinical skills and knowledge to include broad programming abilities for diverse clinical populations.
OTHER CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:
- Washington State Agency affiliated Counselor Registration
- Valid Driver's License
- Active Vehicle Liability Insurance
