Concordance’s reentry program is designed to dramatically reduce recidivism by helping individuals with justice involvement lead meaningful, abundant, and joyful lives. Our holistic, evidence-based model offers a wide range of services - therapy, case management, yoga, behavioral health and substance use recovery groups, spiritual care, life skills, medical care, education, and job readiness. Each participant is formally supported by our Care Team for a full year, ensuring stability and long-term success. Now operating in Missouri, South Carolina, and Virginia, Concordance is a national leader in compassionate, innovative reentry care.

Site Director
The Site Director is responsible for operations, stakeholder engagement, and community partnerships associated with the Concordance Center, working alongside the Program Director. The Site Director is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of all center operations. This includes daily logistics, scheduling, facilities management, staff support, compliance, safety protocols, event execution, and operational problem-solving.

The Site Director ensures consistent operational processes across the Center, maintains high standards for service delivery environments, and creates a hospitable, healing-focused space for participants and staff. The Site Director serves as the primary point of contact for inter-center collaboration and external stakeholders.

This role manages the Site Coordinator. The Site Director partners closely with senior leadership to implement operational strategies, strengthen workflows, partnerships, maintain a high-quality onsite experience, and ensure the program team can deliver high quality services to the participants.

The Site Director reports directly to the EVP, Head of Behavioral Health and Wellness, Community and Life Skills.

Key Responsibilities - your role will involve:

Operational Leadership & Center Administration:

  • Provide comprehensive oversight of all daily center operations.
  • Manage facility readiness, including opening/closing procedures, safety checks, cleaning standards, and overseeing all emergencies, and critical incidents in partnership with the Program Director.
  • Oversee room scheduling, participant flow, and space utilization to support seamless delivery of services.
  • Manage vendor relationships, maintenance requests, and onsite contractors.
  • Maintain compliance with CARF, HIPAA, safety requirements, emergency protocols, and all relevant operational policies.
  • Ensure consistent implementation and continuous improvement of operational SOPs.
  • Conduct routine operational audits to identify issues and implement timely solutions.

Facility Management and Safety:

  • Oversee contracts, insurance, compliance, lease management, and budget for the center.
  • Lead safety and emergency preparedness in compliance with CARF.
  • Manages facilities and security operations

Metrics, Tracking and Operational Reporting:

  • Monitor center-level operational metrics, including attendance, engagement, scheduling efficiency, and facility-related indicators.
  • Ensure timely, accurate data entry and reporting related to operations and logistics.
  • Identify operational trends and propose solutions to improve center functionality.

Events and Center Experience:

  • Lead planning, logistics, and successful execution of all onsite events, including:
    • Family suppers
    • Graduations
    • Donor visits
    • Partner and DOC engagements
  • Ensure all events run smoothly, are well-coordinated, and align with Concordance’s values and standards.
  • Maintain a welcoming and high-quality atmosphere for participants, visitors, and staff at all times.

Community and Leadership Engagement:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement operational strategies, manage risk, and support organizational initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, employers, donors, and DOC representatives.
  • Manager and bring onsite program partners to enhance services and community connection
  • Represent the organization in the community, promoting Concordance’s mission and values.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:

  • Master’s degree in social work, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, administrative management, facilities management, or organizational logistics.
  • Experience in nonprofit or human services settings preferred.
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • 5+ years of management experience in nonprofit operational settings, development or workforce development.
  • Strong understanding of operational systems, safety protocols, compliance, and facilities coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Experience working with justice-involved or vulnerable populations preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This person must be able to sit or stand at a personal computer for typing and reading. This person must be able to see, hear, speak, walk, and sit. Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Willing to help move classrooms around and set up for center events. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Ability to travel to DOC institutions as needed.
