United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Site Director II, EHS to join our team. As Site Director II, EHS, you will be responsible for at least 5 to 9 classrooms and for the delivery of and management of direct services to children and families enrolled at the United Way-managed site. He/she is also responsible for the effective implementation of relationship-based family-centered services, providing leadership to center staff and complying with state regulatory guidelines, as well as the implementation of Head Start Performance Standards. The Site Director 2 is responsible for the planning, implementation, and supervision of operating procedures of the United Way-managed site. In collaboration with the Associate Director, EHSCCP, and consultants, assist in the design and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum according to the guidelines and key elements established by UWM and Head Start Performance Standards.

Requirements
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education, or in one of the following: child development and family studies, early childhood special education, or elementary education, any of which encompasses the development and learning of children from birth through kindergarten. Must have Florida Child Care Director Credential. 9 credit hours in leadership, management, and administration, to be completed during the first year of employment. Must meet federal and state requirements. Demonstrated experience and skill in written and oral communication, leadership, organization, and supervision.
15 Professional Development (In-Service) hours per year, including CPR.
Experience Requirements: At least one year of experience as a program administrator or service area specialist.
Bilingual preferred. (English/Spanish)
Technology Requirements: Beginning Internet Explorer, Intermediate Word, Intermediate Excel, Intermediate Outlook. At the time of employment, training in Andar will be required.
Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Public speaking, understanding of people, ability to adapt to changing situations, ability to understand and analyze industry trends, sales ability, computer skills, basic math skills, and negotiation skills.
