Job Description

Job Description Summary

Serve as the site's primary authority for digital systems across materials management, manufacturing operations, quality, and maintenance. This role drives system adoption, process compliance, workforce capability, and master data quality while ensuring alignment with global standards. Acting as the site's Local Process Digital Authority, this role bridges factory operations and enterprise digital standards, partnering closely with DPE Global Process Digital Authorities, the Master Data Governance team, and site leadership to ensure digital solutions enable operational excellence locally.

Job Description

What will you do:

Digital Operations Leadership

  • Serve as the site's Local Process Digital Authority for digital systems and processes across materials management, manufacturing operations, quality, and maintenance.
  • Lead local deployment, stabilization, and continuous improvement activities related to ERP, MES and other digital manufacturing systems and initiatives.
  • Partner with site leadership to drive adoption of standardized business processes and digital solutions.
  • Represent site operational requirements, risks, and opportunities within enterprise transformation programs, ensuring the site's voice is heard when global standards are defined or updated.

Digital Systems & Process Governance

  • During deployment, serve as the site's primary resource for data conversion activities: validate legacy data against new system requirements, make practical decisions on data cleansing scope and prioritization, and own the classification and enrichment decisions needed to load accurate, usable data into the new system before go-live.
  • Validate that global process designs, system configurations, and localization requirements support site operational needs across materials, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance systems while maintaining compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Partner with Global Process Digital Authorities and the Master Data Governance team to ensure process consistency, data integrity, and operational readiness throughout deployment and beyond.
  • Support system testing, user acceptance activities, deployment readiness reviews, and go-live preparation. Maintain site governance tools, including process documentation and decision-support guides.

Capability Development & Operational Support

  • Own the site digital systems capability strategy once systems are live, ensuring employees have the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively within standardized digital processes across materials, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance.
  • Lead the development and execution of role-based training programs for materials, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams, maintaining training curricula aligned with global standards.
  • Serve as the primary functional escalation point for digital systems and user-support issues across all covered domains, distinguishing between a local training gap, a process gap, and a standard that needs updating, and routing each to the right resolution path.
  • Monitor operational performance indicators related to system utilization, process compliance, and master data quality.

Continuous Improvement & Cross-Site Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve data quality, and increase user productivity without introducing unauthorized local process variations.
  • Participate in the DPE LPDA network and collaborate with peers across manufacturing sites to share best practices, lessons learned, and standardization opportunities.

What will you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, materials management, or production operations within an industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP platforms supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and other digital systems supporting quality or maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting user adoption, training, or business process transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, production execution, and master data governance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic.

What will make you stand out :

  • Experience supporting ERP, MES, quality, maintenance, or other digital manufacturing system deployments in a key user, super user, or deployment role, including data conversion and cutover activities.
  • Knowledge of master data governance, data migration, and ERP transformation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience working within global manufacturing organizations and matrixed team structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive sustainable process adoption.
