DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the 24-hour operations staff that provides hands-on services to clients such as teaching ADLs, serving food, and monitoring client dorms. Attend all clinical and management team meetings. Organize and inventory all supplies required for the day to day functioning of the program. Ensure compliance with regulators requirements. Facilitate groups. Ensure all documentation and reports and completed according to policy. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full time 37.5 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of social service experience including some management and supervisory responsibilities. Experience with homeless population and residential programs a plus. BA and bilingual preferred. Must be computer literate and be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
BRC began operating its newest program, the Jack Ryan Residence, in August 2011. The Jack Ryan Residence, funded by the NYC Department of Homeless Services, is a 200-bed shelter for homeless men living with mental illness. The program provides a complete range of mental health stabilization, medication management, case management, and medical services aimed at moving residents into permanent housing. The ultimate goal of the program is to place its clients into appropriate, supportive housing within nine months.
