The opportunity

Downer’s Energy and Utilities business is looking for a Site Coordinator to support our site operations and connect operational teams with the Support Services Hub.

You will be the key coordination point on site, making sure workforce information, documentation and service requests are accurate, complete and submitted on time.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and recode SAP work orders for planner release
• Close jobs and update statuses based on contractor advice
• Monitor outstanding work and investigate delays
• Coordinate regional and metro dispatch activities
• Extract SAP documentation and prepare dispatch packs
• Issue jobs and communicate urgent changes to field crews
• Support planners with scheduling and job readiness
• Maintain accurate dispatch, reporting and system records
• Respond to contractor enquiries and coordinate updates between planners, contractors and customers

What we’re looking for

• Experience in construction, utilities, engineering, project delivery or a similar operational environment
• Experience in site coordination or operational administration
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating workforce information, mobilisation or site documentation
• Experience using administrative or service request systems such as ServiceNow
• A relevant qualification in Business Administration, Operations Coordination or a related discipline is desirable
