About Our Client:
Our client is a state-owned global powerhouse in the infrastructure sector, consistently ranked among the top international contractors. They are at the forefront of complex engineering challenges, with a vast portfolio of iconic energy, water, and transportation projects across the globe.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a decisive and authoritative Site Agent to serve as the full-time on-site leader for a major Hong Kong waterworks project. This role is the client's primary point of contact on the ground, empowered to receive and execute all instructions from the Service Manager. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive NEC experience and a proven background in water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-time, day-to-day management and supervision of all on-site construction activities.
• Receive and execute instructions directly from the client's Service Manager, with full authority to act on behalf of our client on site.
• Ensure all site works comply with the project's Scope, Particular Specifications, and all safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate site labour, subcontractors, and materials to meet project schedules.
• Chair site meetings, maintain detailed records, and provide regular progress reports.

Requirements:

• Option 1: Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE - Civil) or equivalent.
• Option 2: Recognised university degree in a relevant field.
• With Option 1: 5 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering construction contracts, with at least 3 years in a site management role on waterworks contracts for a principal contractor.
• With Option 2: 10 years of post-qualification experience in civil engineering construction contracts, with at least 3 years in a site management role on waterworks contracts for a principal contractor.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Construction Manager, Site Agent, or Deputy Agent under an NEC contract, OR be a recognised NEC certified Project Manager or Service Manager.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
