To support our project delivery team in Darwin, we are seeking an organised and proactive Site Administrator to join our team based in Townsville. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role supporting daily project operations, travel coordination and mobilisation activities within a fast-paced construction environment.

About the role

BMD Constructions is seeking an experienced Site Administrator to join our high-performing project team based in Townsville.

Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, you will provide vital administrative support across the project, ensuring the efficient coordination of travel, mobilisation and project administration activities. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to build positive relationships will be critical to supporting project success.

This would be a project-specific role, so the person would be dedicated to supporting that project rather than working across multiple projects or the broader business.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate worker travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation and ground transportation
• Act as the primary point of contact for travel and mobilisation enquiries
• Prepare, distribute and maintain internal and external project correspondence
• Support mobilisation and onboarding activities for project personnel
• Maintain accurate project records, registers and documentation
• Assist with document control and administration processes across the project
• Ensure administration systems and processes are implemented consistently
• Support project teams with general administration and coordination requirements
• Build strong working relationships with project personnel, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling and calendar management
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project administration functions

About you

• Previous experience in a project administration, site administration or mobilisation coordination role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience coordinating travel and mobilisation activities is highly regarded
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with SharePoint, JobPac or similar systems will be highly regarded
• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Commitment to supporting a collaborative and high-performing team environment
