We are looking for an interested, organized, and reliable teaching assistant for SISE 3042 Social Entrepreneurship. The position requires experience in reviewing, assessing, and synthesizing peer-reviewed literature in business and the social sciences, as well as the ability to attend class sessions.
Expected Duties:
• Grading research papers and other assignments, with an emphasis on providing clear instruction and detailed feedback to help students strengthen their research and writing skills
• Assisting with email communications and file organization through the Canvas platform
• Attending class (not every session is required, but enough to build rapport with students)
• Optional: Delivering one or two lectures (e.g., case studies), only if this is of interest to the TA — not a requirement
Proposed Schedule:
• A total of 75 hours per section • TR 9:30-10:45 AM; Anticipate working 9:15-11 AM • Scheduled at your convenience, providing students with timely feedback (2-7 days, depending on assignment length) on submitted assignments, plus • Preparing and maintaining Canvas resources and e-mail communication as needed
