Title: SIS Project Coordinator (Consultant)
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (onsite) or remote/virtual
Engagement: Full-time consulting assignment (40 hours/week) for 6–9 months, with potential to convert to a permanent position based on business need and performance.
Compensation: Market rate; based on qualifications, resume, and earning history.
Contract type: 1099 (independent contractor)
Time zone: Eastern Time (EDT) business hours
This role is as much about people and communication as it is about systems. You’ll be the connective tissue between vendors, leadership, and end users—keeping workstreams aligned, informed, and moving forward.
For SIS implementations, the project typically includes approximately 200 structured tasks across 17 milestones, spanning discovery, configuration, data validation, training, and launch readiness.
· Student Information System (SIS): Anthology moving to New SIS platform
· Learning Management System (LMS): Moodle moving to Brightspace
· Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Great Plains moving to Microsoft Business Central

Requirements
· ERP/SIS migration experience: demonstrated success transitioning institutions from legacy systems (e.g., Anthology) to modern cloud-based environments.
· Ability to collaborate with academic and administrative teams (registrar, student services, finance/financial aid) to align workflows, testing, and training.
· Vendor management: proven ability to manage SaaS vendor relationships, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
· Exceptional communication and people-management skills: able to facilitate meetings, align cross-functional stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive adoption through change.
· Higher education operations knowledge, including Title IV compliance, financial aid system integrations, and registrar workflows.
