About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the commodities business in Singapore as part of Asia's market leading interdealer broker. Reporting to the Middle Office Manager, the successful candidate will be working as part of the Middle Office team, supporting daily trading activities.

This role will ensure that Deals/Trades executed by front office staff on voice or hybrid systems are captured quickly, accurately, reported to counterparties within expected timeframes and anomalies are investigated and escalated.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide trade support / operational support to broking desks
• Execute trade bookings and validation in an accurate and timely manner
• Manage post-trade amendments, cancellations and reconciliations
• Addressing and monitoring trade-related issues with Banks, Front Office Brokers and IT
• Collaborate with Compliance and Technology teams to set up client and instrument files
• Ensure smooth post-trade operations
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports

Job Requirement

• ITE or Diploma or Degree education in any field
• Experience in Trade Support, Middle Office or Back Office functions
• Knowledge/experience in commodity products is an advantage
• Detail oriented, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and issues in a time pressured environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Should business need arise to work on Public Holidays, off-in-lieu will be compensated
