About the Position

Bagira Systems is looking for an Simulator Field Instructor to join our team in the Netherlands.

The Instructor will be responsible for delivering professional training and operating Bagira's advanced training and simulation systems for the land forces. This is an opportunity to work in an exciting and evolving field of military training and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and operate Bagira systems in military field training environments.
• Adapt the capabilities of the system to the users' training requirements, with the objective of achieving optimal operational readiness.
• Prepare and operate the systems during training sessions and exercises.
• Support users and trainees throughout training activities.
• Take responsibility for the operational readiness and proper functioning of the systems.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and provide first-line technical support when required.
• Work closely with Bagira's engineering and technical teams regarding preventive maintenance, system faults and technical issues.
• Support demonstrations, exercises and customer training activities.
• Support training activities at customer and military locations in the Netherlands and, when required, abroad.

Requirements

• Ability to train and instruct.
• Good technical skills and ability to understand and operate complex systems.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technology-oriented with a hands-on approach and willingness to work directly with training and simulation systems.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Good problem-solving capabilities and ability to respond effectively to unexpected situations.
• Good computer skills.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Military background or knowledge of military systems is a big plus.
• Previous experience with training or instruction is a big plus.
• Experience playing computer games is a plus.
