Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Simulation Specialist in the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
monitoring and ensuring simulation and education-based technologies are maintained
assessing and resolving equipment failures
collaborating / participating in the design and implementation of the simulation scenarios
developing and ensuring the compliance of policies in relation to simulation.
contributing to research activity with in CIME to improve the technical functions of the Centre
collaborating with local and international vendors for troubleshooting and repair of simulation equipment
identifying performance opportunities or training needs for technical staff as it relates to simulation
providing training to improve performance in the use of clinical simulation.
supporting clinical educators with orientation to principles of simulation training technology and configuration.
supporting in selecting appropriate modality of simulation to meet learning objectives and which is most appropriate to selected learners
making recommendations for the purchase of equipment, supplies and materials required for simulation
maintaining quality control for the processes at the Centre and provides feedback for improvement
leading in aspect of annual budget planning
contributing to the strategic planning of the Centre in relation to the mission statement.
