To strengthen our growing development center in Espoo, Finland, we are looking for highly engaged simulation experts with a passion for technology and process innovation.

As a Simulation Expert in the semiconductor industry, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing advanced manufacturing processes for semiconductor devices. Your expertise will drive improvements in yield, efficiency, and quality across different semiconductor products, ensuring cutting-edge performance and reliability. Additionally, you will contribute to fundamental development activities, laying the groundwork for next-generation technologies.

  • Process Simulation & Development: Conduct detailed simulations to model semiconductor processes and predict performance outcomes.

  • Fundamental Research: Investigate physical and chemical principles underlying semiconductor processes and materials to enable breakthrough innovations.

  • Optimization & Innovation: Develop new process protocols and optimize existing ones to enhance yield and reduce costs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers and production teams to integrate new technologies.

  • Technology Introduction: Support the implementation of innovative processes and materials into high-volume production environments.

  • Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with research institutes and equipment vendors to build a bridge between fundamental research and industrialization. 

Qualifications

  • Personality: You have a problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

  • Experience and Know-How You have strong, demonstrable expertise in semiconductor process development, simulation, or related areas, preferably gained within the Finnish technology ecosystem. You possess strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication technologies, process modeling tools, and analytical methods. Furthermore, you are prepared to evaluate new applications and possess experience in semiconductor hardware development.

  • Enthusiasm You are enthusiastic about new tasks, understanding complex topics and working in an international environment.

  • Education: Completed university studies (Master/Diploma/PhD) in in electrical engineering, natural sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry), material sciences, computational science or a comparable subject.

  • Languages: Excellent written and spoken English; Finnish or German are a plus.
