As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm's resources and Know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm.

Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from Commercial / Corporate Lawyers to support our global investment manager client. The role is due to commence as soon as possible for a 3-6 month period, with 5 days in the London office.

• Broad generalist role covering commercial and corporate.
• Review procurement contracts – hardware and software.
• Review commercial contracts – travel, sponsorship, donation agreements.
• Corporate governance – engagement letters for auditors, financial services, resolutions, director changes and entity set up.
• Monitor regulatory changes and developments within financial services.

Person specification:

• Minimum 3 years PQE.
• You are a qualified lawyer from a leading private practice or in-house experience within corporate/commercial.
• Ideally experience in financial services and/or an investment management firm.
• Some experience within regulatory space would be helpful.
• You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
• You are able to work in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
• You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines. You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
• You can work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
• You will be required to hold he relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
