Your New Role!
We are seeking 2x Casual SimLab Interactors to join our team. As a Simulation Interactor, you will play a key role in delivering immersive, real-world training scenarios by operating digital avatars. Your performance will help create authentic, engaging interactions that support simulation-based learning across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and perform a range of avatar archetypes, often portraying multiple characters simultaneously, to deliver engaging simulated training experiences.
Maintain consistent, high-quality performances to ensure a seamless and credible SimLab™ user experience.
Set up and manage the Interactors Operations room for each session, ensuring all systems are ready and functioning effectively.
Maintain a reliable connection between the Operations room and the SimLab™ classroom environment.
Collaborate with the SimLab™ team and academic staff to support the delivery of effective training outcomes.

This casual role attracts a competitive casual rate of $46 p/hr – $57 p/hr inclusive of 25% casual loading plus 12% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:
Demonstrated background in Performing Arts.
Qualified SimLab™ performer, with certification through the Murdoch training program.
Proven experience as a performer, ideally within a simulated or training environment, with demonstrated skills in puppetry, roleplay, or improvisation-based performance. A combination of these techniques is highly desirable to support the delivery of dynamic and engaging simulation scenarios.
Ability to work collaboratively with the SimLab™ team and academic staff.
Strong technical aptitude and confidence working with relevant systems.
