Silver Peak SD-WAN Architect-Immediate to 30 days notice

Role: -

Silver Peak SD-WAN Architect will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation strategy for a large-scale SD-WAN transformation. The role requires deep expertise in Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) design, integration with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and interoperability with existing on-prem and WAN technologies (Versa, MPLS, Meraki). The architect will work closely with network operations, cloud, and security teams to deliver a scalable, resilient, and secure WAN solution.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for Silver Peak SD-WAN deployment.
• Design routing, segmentation, and overlay/underlay connectivity between branches, data centers, and cloud environments.
• Define network topology, traffic engineering, QoS, and application performance optimization strategies.
• Phased migration plan to transition existing WAN circuits and configurations to Silver Peak.
• Define and standardize configuration templates, policies, and automation workflows.
• Work with cloud teams to establish cloud-onramp, IPsec, and BGP-based connectivity.
• Integrate SD-WAN security and routing policies with firewalls and cloud-native controls.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, network inventories, and configuration baselines.
• Establish best practices and standards for network design and deployment automation.
• 10+ years of network architecture and engineering experience.
• 5+ years of SD-WAN design and deployment experience, with hands-on expertise in Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect).
• Strong understanding of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IPsec, and QoS.
• Experience in WAN transformation and large-scale network migrations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure networking, including VPN, Transit Gateway, and ExpressRoute.
• Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and large-scale transformation projects.
• Comfortable working in hybrid, cross-functional environments (Network, Security, Cloud, Operations).

Preferred Certifications

• Silver Peak ASE / Aruba Certified Edge Professional (ACEP) or equivalent.
• AWS / Azure Networking Specialty Certification.
• Cisco CCIE
