About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Silo Manager to lead the daily operations of our grain elevator facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while driving asset performance, people management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong operational leadership experience within grain handling, industrial manufacturing, food production, or agricultural environments, combined with a hands-on management style and strong safety mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the grain elevator facility
  • Ensure safe and efficient technological and operational processes
  • Monitor equipment status, maintenance activities, and asset performance
  • Lead and coordinate site employees and optimize workforce organization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), labor protection, fire safety, and environmental regulations
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees receive appropriate training
  • Control fixed and variable operational costs
  • Minimize operational downtime and support smooth logistics activities
  • Develop and implement maintenance and SHE action plans and CAPEX proposals
  • Monitor KPI performance and prepare regular operational reports
  • Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders, local authorities, suppliers, and business partners
  • Ensure proper site security and property management

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within:
    • grain handling,
    • agricultural operations,
    • industrial manufacturing,
    • food production,
    • or a similar operational environment
  • Proven experience in managing teams and operational processes
  • Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and operational regulations
  • Experience influencing operational and management decisions
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead by example

Qualifications

Education

  • Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Agriculture, Operations Management, or equivalent
