JOB SUMMARY:
Exposes photo stencils, finishes and repairs screens by performing the following duties.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives job assignments, positives, and positioning requirements from Production Supervisor
- Use mesh type and screen framed indicated on job specifications.
- Mix photo emulsion according to procedure, or obtain photo stencil direct film, and apply to screen.
- Position film positive on sensitized screen according to requirements.
- Insert screen in vacuum frame, expose to light source, and wash out excess emulsion according to procedure.
- Tape and block out perimeter of screen.
- Check screen for pinholes on light table and repair stencil when necessary.  Secure cell leader's approval when screen is ready for press.
- Repair or replace screens which have broken down on press.
- Observe all safety rules.
- Support the quality policy, objectives and the quality system requirements.
- Inspections to be performed using only approved procedures, specifications, and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Training Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Able to learn to get screen ready for press
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to follow directions
- Knowledge of appropriate tool use
- Strong communication skills
- Able to read and speak English
- Basic high school math skills
