Responsible for setup and maintain production and quality requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
-English competent (speak, write and read).
-Basic math operations.
-Good mechanical aptitude and skills.
-Knowledge of industrial printing equipment.
-Knowledge of lithograph and offset printing techniques.
-Able to detect equipment malfunctions or misalignments.
-Ability to work in and promote team environment.
-Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisory personnel.
-Excellent color perception.
PAST EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
1 – 2 years recent experience in printing trades or similar manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED certificate; or
Tenth grade equivalent education plus 3 – 4 years applicable experience.
POSITION MAIN DUTIES
1. Upon receiving job order, reads job specs and procures all applicable tooling and materials.
2. Sets up the printing equipment to accommodate for job orders and specs in the production run.
3. Conducts ongoing visual inspection of machine for leaks, loose belts, etc., according to checklist.
4. Troubleshoots lithograph and offset printing equipment.
5. Conducts adjustments as needed to meet customer’s specifications.
6. Continuously checks, on a random basis, for compliance to customer specs and quality standards.
7. Identifies and promptly reports to supervisor equipment malfunction, material, safety or quality issues.
8. Completes Record Production/Quality Control work sheet accurately.
9. Performs line clearance procedures in the event of change of products.
10. Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
11. Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.
