Job Description

What to Expect

We are building Terafab, a vertically integrated semiconductor factory at an unprecedented scale. The facility houses logic, memory, packaging, test, and lithography mask production under one roof, optimized for rapid iteration and maximum compute density per square foot.

We are looking for a Silicon Program Manager to bring order and momentum to this work — owning the programs end to end, keeping design teams aligned on schedule and resources, and ensuring the vendors and tools that make silicon possible are ready when the design teams need them.

This is a high-visibility role at the center of Tesla and SpaceX's silicon roadmap. You will work directly with design leadership across both companies, drive accountability across every workstream, and be the connective tissue between internal design teams and the external IP and EDA vendor ecosystem that Terafab depends on.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage silicon design programs at Terafab spanning both memory and logic design development for Tesla and SpaceX
  • Work closely with Tesla and SpaceX silicon design teams to coordinate program schedules and allocate engineering resources
  • Interact directly with external IP and EDA vendors to enable their IP and design tools within the Terafab technology environment
  • Track program milestones, surface risks early, and drive cross-team resolution to keep programs on schedule
  • Build and maintain program plans, dashboards, and reporting that give design and executive leadership clear visibility into progress
  • Establish and continuously improve program management processes and tooling as Terafab's silicon programs scale in number and complexity

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Significant experience (10+ years) in program or project management within semiconductor, ASIC, or SoC design environments
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional design teams, schedules, and resource plans across multiple concurrent silicon programs
  • Working knowledge of silicon technology and design flows, including both memory and logic design development
  • Experience managing relationships with external IP and/or EDA vendors, including tool enablement and licensing coordination
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to align engineering, vendor, and executive stakeholders around a common plan

Compensation and Benefits

Benefits

Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:

  • Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits
  • Company paid Basic Life, AD&D
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays
  • Back-up childcare and parenting support resources
  • Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance
  • Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs
  • Tesla Babies program
  • Commuter benefits
  • Employee discounts and perks program

Expected Compensation

$88,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
