Olympic College is seeking two part-time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters to support the instructional needs of the American Sign Language program. These two positions will work in direct support of one ASL faculty member and require a flexible schedule to meet classroom, instructional, and college-related communication needs. The ASL Interpreters will provide impartial, accurate, and culturally appropriate interpretation by relaying American Sign Language, sign systems, and spoken English for deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind individuals. Serving as a communication liaison between deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing individuals, this position helps ensure effective communication and equitable access to college programs, services, and activities while advancing Olympic College's commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and student success.

This is an hourly position scheduled to work up to 18 hours per week, with a salary of $30.90 - $ 40.48 per hour*
*This is a part-time classified position. All classified positions will start their salary at Step A. After completing the six-month probation, your salary will increase by 2 steps. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Associate (WPEA) Union. Classified positions may qualify for the following benefits:
