The Sign Fabricator is responsible for the design, production, installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control, street name, and informational signs throughout the Consolidated Government roadways. This position ensures that all signage complies with local, state, and federal regulations including the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This position works under the guidance of the Sign Supervisor, also works with the Manager, and other operations.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED.
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience as a Signs & Marking Technician or related field, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this job.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Licensing: Must possess a valid state operator/driver’s license for the type of vehicle operated with a good driving history.
Certifications:

Is travel from office to other locations required of this position? No
