As a Sign Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a wide variety of signs. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools to produce high-quality signage that meets customer specifications.

Essential Functions

• Metal fabrication of aluminum and steel.
• Set up and operate fabricating and metal forming machines.
• Perform quality, accurate, and timely work with minimal oversight after the training period.
• Weld aluminum structures, ensuring the integrity and appearance of the finished product.
• Read and interpret blueprints thoroughly.
• Operate and use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before delivery.
• Lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of your shop area.
• Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure project feasibility and completion.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sign Fabricator or similar role in the signage or related industry.
• Knowledge of welding aluminum and experience operating fabrication equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in fabrication and welding certification preferred.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
• Others as deemed required by the company to ensure safety in your role.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.
  

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
