Job Description

FASTSIGNS Independence is seeking a skilled Sign Fabricator to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality custom signage including channel letters, light boxes, and directional aluminum signs. If you have proven experience in the sign industry and strong CNC fabrication skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate a wide range of signage including channel letters, lighted signs, aluminum panels, dimensional letters, and more
  
  
• Operate CNC routers, and other shop equipment to cut and assemble sign components accurately
  
  
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  
  
• Handle electrical wiring for illuminated signs (LED modules, power supplies)
  
  
• Prepare and assemble sign frames, faces, and structures
  
  
• Finish signs with paint, vinyl application, and other detailing methods
  
  
• Maintain shop equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  
  
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in sign fabrication
  
  
• CNC machine operation experience (CNC, router, or similar equipment)
  
  
• Knowledge of sign materials such as aluminum, acrylic, PVC, ACM, and vinyl
  
  
• Ability to measure, cut, weld, and assemble components with precision
  
  
• Understanding of UL requirements and basic electrical wiring for illuminated signs
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
  
  
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced production environment
  
  
• Team player with strong communication skills
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Welding experience
  
  
• Experience with channel letter benders and metal brakes
  
  
• Knowledge of sign painting and finishing techniques
  
  
• Familiarity with software for CNC routing and sign fabrication

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
