As the Siemens Advanta Head of Sub-Region DACH (m/f/d), you are responsible for leading the business and operational growth of our DACH organization, including overall strategic, operational, and financial performance.
You will strategically position Siemens Advanta as the best-in-class professional services leader across the DACH region. This role demands driving significant business growth through robust collaboration with the Siemens CEOs for Germany, Austria/CEE, and Switzerland, along with other critical internal units and external partners. Your focus will be on increasing value delivery for both clients and Siemens, ensuring a highly profitable, sustainable, and growing Advanta business.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Leading with purpose to inspire, develop, and grow a high-performing team and acting as a role model, leading teams with varied strengths by living Siemens Advanta values and behaviors, fostering diversity, walking the talk, developing our people, and creating a great place to work.
  • Being a hands-on leader, personally engaged and accountable operationally as well as financially for the acquisition and implementation of projects, with a strong focus on large-scale, complex digital transformation projects for major German enterprises.
  • Building and growing, together with your team, your own strong pipeline of clients and projects in the digitalization and sustainability arena, together with other Siemens units. This includes leveraging and expanding a strong network within the German industrial and enterprise ecosystem.
  • Ensuring the collaborative integration of the necessary Advanta and Siemens competencies to deliver on the three main customer engagement types within the Siemens OneTech Company Strategy: Transformational Lead, Implementor for first-of-its-kind, and Value Optimizer.
  • Tracking the impact of relevant opportunities and projects for both Siemens and Advanta, in close collaboration with ADV Specialty Practices that support Business Development & Sales and drive project delivery for topics in their scope.

Your defining qualities

Education
  • Master's degree or MBA from a reputable university/business school highly preferred, with a focus on strategic management, international business, digital transformation, or technology management.
Experience & Skills
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience (15+ years) in leading and significantly growing professional services organizations, ideally within a product-centric industrial or technology company.
  • Proven P&L responsibility for a significant business unit (e.g., >€50M) within a top-tier consulting firm or professional services organization.
  • Deep understanding and proven track record in the German market, including a strong C-level network within large German enterprises and key industrial verticals relevant to Siemens (e.g., manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, mobility).
  • Previous experience in leading complex solution projects, especially in the area of Digital Transformation, with a clear emphasis on both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) integration and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and mentor talent across diverse technical and consulting domains, including IT and OT specialists.
  • Strategic acumen and leadership potential to be considered a viable successor for broader EMEA leadership roles.

Languages
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • German language proficiency (C1/C2 level) is highly advantageous and preferred for effective market engagement.
  • Other European languages are an advantage.

Please note: While we are open to considering strong profiles from across the DACH region, regular and significant personal presence at our Munich office is a non-negotiable requirement to foster close collaboration, team leadership on site, and deep engagement with key stakeholders. Relocation to the Munich area is expected if not already based there.
