Our client is a leading Value-Added Distributor, specializing in providing information security solutions and services via their channel partners to enterprises of all sizes across sub-Saharan Africa. They provide cybersecurity solutions and services that span the entire enterprise information infrastructure lifecycle, including the perimeter, network, endpoints, application, cloud, IoT and data security. They are looking to hire a
SIEM Cybersecurity Sales Specialist.

Job Summary:

The client is
seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Sales Manager

to lead our growth efforts across the
West
African market

in the rapidly evolving
SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)

sector. This
role will focus on developing and executing regional sales strategies, building strong relationships with enterprise clients and positioning our cybersecurity solutions as critical enablers of secure digital transformation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market Development

    :

Drive revenue growth in West Africa by identifying new business opportunities and expanding
existing customer relationships in key verticals (e.g., finance, telecom, government, oil & gas).

  • Solution Selling:

Develop and deliver compelling value propositions for SIEM, log management, UEBA, SOAR, Inisder-threat and security analytics offerings.

  • Pipeline Management:

Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing while maintaining accurate forecasting and reporting via CRM tools.

  • Partner Ecosystem:

Build and manage relationships with local VARs, MSSPs, system integrators, and technology partners to extend market reach.

  • Customer Engagement:

Conduct executive level presentations and demonstrations, articulate ROI and technical capabilities, and work with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Regional Expertise:

Stay informed of market trends, regulatory changes (e.g., data protection laws), and competitive activities within West Africa.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field. MBA is a plus.

  • 5+ years of sales experience

    in enterprise soWware or cybersecurity (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, or similar).

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the

    West African market

    .

  • Strong understanding of the enterprise security landscape, including compliance requirements(e.g., NIST, NDPR, ISO 27001).

  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel across the region (40-50%).

Preferred:


Existing relationships with CISOs and security teams in key West African enterprises.


Experience selling to banks, telecoms, and government entities in Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire,

etc.


Fluency in

French and English

is a strong advantage.
