The Security Operations role is a critical position within Ericsson's Managed Security Services (MSS) department, tasked with steadfastly protecting our networks and nodes. As the backbone of our security effort, you will employ a vast array of methods to monitor, detect, analyze, and handle incidents alongside investigating potential threats. This role also involves performing comprehensive vulnerability assessments to ensure stringent security measures. Security Operations plays a key role in maintaining information asset security and ensuring contract compliance.
What you will do:- Continuously monitor and examine security events for relevancy, context, and severity.
- Administer vulnerability and risk management to maintain a secure environment.
- Oversee user access management to ensure information is only accessible by relevant personnel.
- Guarantee that our information assets secure, operating in alignment with contractual obligations.
- Perform the duties of Security Technical Authority, ensuring compliance with security deliverables.
- Take responsibility for Vulnerability Management by identifying, scanning, and mitigating potential threats.
