The Side Loader Operator is responsible for picking and staging materials on pallets, including coils, boxes of siding (steel, aluminum, and vinyl), and accessories, and arranging finished goods based on destination and location on the shipping dock.
This role operates powered industrial trucks (P.I.T.), such as forklifts, side loaders, reach trucks, and manual pallet jacks, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, and transport products, equipment, and materials throughout the facility.
The Side Loader Operator also supports fabrication lines by supplying materials such as pallets, cartons, and belts, and retrieving finished goods from production areas.
