Monday - Friday, split shifts

Under the leadership of the security department director and the shuttle supervisor, the shuttle driver is responsible for driving staff to and from work from designated locations in the community while abiding by all traffic laws. The shuttle driver is responsible for enforcing all established hospital policies and procedures. Important dimensions of this position consist of professional commitment, interpersonal skills, safety, and good public/customer relations.

Experience:

Previous experience in driving large shuttle busses is required. Able to drive standard and automatic preferred. Good customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.

Education:

High school diploma, G.E.D. or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:

Must possess, as a minimum, a valid California class A or B driver's license with passenger endorsement. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Other:

An acceptable driving record of three points or less and participation in the DMV pull-notice program. Able to be flexible with work schedule.

Assigned Work Hours:

Per diem, varied days with am/pm shifts as needed. No set guaranteed hours in a two week pay period. This is not a full or part time position.

Varied am/pm split shifts (3 1/4 hour, 3 1/2 hour or 4 hour shifts)

Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience):

$29.61

to

$39.63

The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.

Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $2.06Hourly Night Shift Differential: $3.09
