Compensation: $18.42/hour

The Shuttle Bus Driver is a key member of the Security team, responsible for the safe, reliable, and courteous transportation of personnel. This role requires adherence to established routes and schedules, excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to passenger safety and customer service, and the ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational checks.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate shuttle buses safely along designated routes and schedules.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to all passengers, assisting as needed.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects immediately.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and security procedures.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, vehicle damage, or suspicious activities promptly.
  • Maintain accurate trip and fuel logs and ensure vehicle cleanliness.


EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional shuttle bus or commercial driving experience. Experience with maintenance coordination is highly preferred.
  • Licensing: Valid Ontario Class [C or F, depending on vehicle capacity] driver's license with an excellent driving record (abstract required).
  • Must possess a valid "Z" (Air Brake) endorsement if the vehicle is equipped with air brakes.
  • Exceptional driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety and defensive driving.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for pre-trip inspections and identifying vehicle issues.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and logs (manual and/or digital).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform pre-trip inspections, including kneeling, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and assist passengers with luggage or mobility aids as needed
  • (within legal limits).
  • Capable of operating a motor vehicle safely under various weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times when you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
