Transports, in a luxury vehicle, top executives, personnel, and visitors to and from destination(s)outlined in promotions. Drives shuttle bus, mini-bus, van, car, or lightweight truck to transport clients, trainees,company personnel or company products. The Shuttle/Chauffeur Driver has substantial contact with guestswhiletransportingfor promotionalevents andprizes.

PrimaryDuties &Responsibilities:

• GreetallguestsandTeamMembersinafriendly,openmanner.
• Conductsoneselfinapositive andprofessionalmanner,actingasarolemodelforallTeamMembers.
• MaintainsknowledgeofallcurrentandupcomingpromotionsandeventsatOdawaCasino Resort.
• Drives vehicle from Odawa Casino Resort to assigned Hotels, Motels, Administration buildings, fuelingcenterorother functionareas andbacktoCasino.
• Assists passengers to enter and leave vehicle; look after passengers’ baggage if necessary; may assistpassengerscarrytheir baggage.
• Drives passengers to and from pre-selected destination(s) back to casino or hotel as outlined inpromotion.
• Knowsallemergencyprocedures;alwaysensurespassengersafety.
• Is aware of continual updates on changes in traffic laws and CDL requirements if transporting 16passengersormoreincludingthedriver.
• Operates vehicles safely and, in compliance with all motor vehicle laws and speed limits ensuring thesafetyofallpassengers andutilizationofOdawa Casino Resort standardsofservice.
• OperatesradiosorsimilardevicestocommunicatewithCasinoandothercompanypersonnel.
• Operatescellphoneonlywhenthevehicleis inpark
• Responsible for vehicle presentation, keeping car cleaned, polished, and in appropriate operatingcondition.
• Cleansand servicesvehiclewith fuel,lubricants, andaccessories.
• Performs routine safety check of vehicle at the beginning of each shift and ensures that vehicleis clean at all times, inside and out
• Maymakeminorrepairs.
• Keepsrecords ofvehicle condition, trips,fuel andpassenger.
• Adherestoregulatory,safety,departmentalandcompanypolicies.
• Mayberequiredtoperformdutiesinother positionsintransportationtocovercall-ins andno-shows.
• Attendsallmeetingsasrequired.
• Completesallrequiredtrainingsatisfactorily.
• Always maintains the highest level of confidentiality
• Workatother propertiesasneeded.
• Performsallotherdutiesas assigned withinthescopeoftheposition.

MinimumQualifications:

• Must be21yearsorolder.
• Must have a valid Michigan Chauffeurs License or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with PassengerEndorsement(P).
• Musthaveanacceptabledriving recordandbeinsurablethroughour insurancecarrier.
• Musthaveknowledgeof Michigan Departmentof Transportation (MDOT)regulations.
• Must have acurrent,orbeable toobtain,aDOTmedicalcardandkeepituptodate.
• Must read,write andspeakEnglishfluently.
• Musthave basicmathskills.
• Must have goodknowledge ofthe localareaandroads.
• Must be able to make minor repairs including but not limited to replacing windshield wipers, bulbs, topoffoil andwindshieldwiper fluid, etc.
• Musthaveexcellentverbalcommunication.
• Must be able to work well and tactfully with both internal and external guests and have excellentinterpersonalskills.
• Requiresextendedperiodsofsittingandotherphysicalrequirementsassociatedwithdrivingashuttle
• bus.
• Must beabletoworkindependentlyonateamwithminimalsupervision.
• Must be flexible with shifts and days off with the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, specialevents,etc., asneeded.

• Exposuretoloud andcontinual noise levels andasmoke-filledenvironment.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBBGamingRegulatory Commission,andbeabletoserveinthepositionunderanyotherapplicable law.
