We are seeking a professional Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-functioning vehicle.

  • Safely operate shuttle buses on designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Transport passengers to and from specified locations according to established schedules
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report any mechanical issues
  • Assist passengers with boarding and departing the shuttle, including those with special needs
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle maintenance
  • Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior
  • Follow emergency procedures when necessary
  • Provide professional and courteous service to all passengers
  • Navigate various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
  • Current DOT medical certification
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Physical ability to assist passengers and handle luggage when needed
  • Proficiency in basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks
  • Knowledge of Kenner area and surrounding routes
  • Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Proven record of punctuality and reliability
  • Basic math skills for maintaining trip logs and records
